On the 2nd of February, 2016, the As-Law students went on an excursion to the Combined Magistrate and High court Ikeja, Lagos. This allowed the students develop an insight into the legal system, as various cases were heard and debated. Structures such as adjournment, trial, and judgement were noticed as the judge applied her judicial knowledge.
Other legal personnel were seen which improved our practical insight such as the barristers and solicitors. We also got to understand the recording processes applied in cases. It was an amazing and eye opening exercise in general.
