We students had a rare opportunity to glean from the professional impartation of these worthy men and women, who shared life experiences and encouraged us to forge ahead in life and be the best we can ever be as we make critical career choices.
In a well-organized event put together by the Marketing Department of the college and a committee for the Careers’ Day, the programme commenced from the college Dining Hall, where all dignitaries were introduced and the students motivated through a short talk by Mr. Ejike Ugwu and Mr. Ogunbode, both alumnae of the college. They were pragmatic enough to share some of their time with the college conveying how they were able to make positive and critical decisions which helped them later in life.
With rooms properly allocated to cater for different careers, students moved to where they belonged and interacted with designated professionals. Apart from these, there were interludes of informal ambiance, where networking and interactions could take place between the professionals and students.
Some highlights included Skype calls from Ms. MRS. LOLA OGUNSANYA addressing the students from the UK and a riveting and engaging presentation by Mr. D. Fatimilehin.
Ms. Mrs. Ogunsanya Skyping from the UK and giving the students a riveting presentation
Mr. Fatimilehin addressing the whole school with his professionally delivered talk.
By the time the event ended at about 4:45pm everybody could rightly see that, it has been an eventful and informative day for everybody.
Our appreciation to the professionals who took time out to be part of the successful event. We say with all assurance that ,we have been truly blessed!
