30th April, 2o14 was quite memorable. It was a day when the college officially had its last formal assembly for this academic year. Coincidentally, it was also a day that presented itself to reward some of our students that have excelled and displayed exceptional characters. In a short and colourful ceremony anchored by the Character Counts coordinator in the college, Mr. Odunuyi, and with the Principal of the college, Ms. Carol Scott in attendance, the deserving students were called out to be celebrated.
For the month of March, 2014, Olamide Onajide was the winner for the Responsibility Award. This is not surprising to many. The Advanced level student is one person that has saddled herself with the responsibility of taking most of the pictures for most college events. She is there almost anytime you need her. Kudos to her dedication and service to the college.
Chidera Maduagwu incidentally is the President of the student body, SRC-Students Representative Council. His leadership qualities are quite outstanding and he has been instrumental in conducting the affairs of the student body with maturity and diligence. He won the Trustworthiness Award for the month of April. Congratulations to all our winners!
