It was again time to look back at how far we have come in the last year, as the college hosted the annual Oxbridge Retreat on the 28th of June, 2016. After the opening remark by the Managing Director of the college, Dr. (Mrs.) C. O. Ogunsanya, who introduced the objective of the retreat (entitled Professionalism and Ethics), the chairman of the board, Mr. Tope Togun, did a recap of the 2015 retreat, entitled Reflective Management. This proved moving and riveting, eliciting a positive response from the members of staff present. This was followed by a presentation by Mr. Oyewumi, who looked at the discourse from a Human Resources point of view. Mr. Cillers, the Principal of the Grace School, took the centre stage later and he explored the practical sides of ethics. Another member of the board, Dr. Oshadare came in with a framework towards forming an ethics policy in the college. These are just some snippets of what proved to be an amazingly insightful and engaging event.
