Another homecoming for Oxbridge Alumni!

In a build-up to the 20th anniversary of the college, the alumni met on the 29th of June, 2013. This would be the second time the association would be meeting. However, this gathering was particularly productive because of the far-reaching decisions accomplished. The meeting started at 2:15pm with a short prayer followed by a sumptuous meal, which to most old students is a taste of the memory of the delicious meals, the students often enjoy. As this was going on, a video documentary entitled, Oxbridge Over the Years was playing to the amusement of the old students, as they relived the nostalgic memory of their years in the college. The Managing Director of the college, Dr.(Mrs.)C.O Ogunsanya who hosted the gathering, made her opening remarks, which included a short presentation on the imperativeness of the alumni, espousing the mutual benefits for both the members of the alumni and the college. She particularly eulogized the virtue of giving back to our immediate community in whatever way one is endowed. The meeting and college was also privileged to hear some of the opinions of the alumni which are germane to the success of the college and especially the forthcoming 20th anniversary slated for December,2013. One of the highlights of the meeting was the formation of an adhoc committee to steer the affairs of the alumni. The following officials were nominated: President- Mr.Gbenga Ogunbode Treasurer- Miss.Damilola Odunubi Secretary- Miss.Kunbi Ogunde Social Director- Mr.Gbolade Okeowo After what was obviously a fruitful coming-together, with warm exchange of pleasantries among old friends, a group photograph was taken on the steps of the college entrance.
