TIME TO REFLECT: Oxbridge 2015 Staff Retreat

In what has become a tradition of excellence for the Oxbridge family of schools, all members of staff drawn from Oxbridge Tutorial College and the Oxbridge Academy gathered once again for the annual Staff Retreat on the 23rd of June, 2015. It has always been an occasion for everyone to sit down, to reflect and brainstorm on ways to move the institutions forward. This year’s retreat is aptly tagged, REFLECTIVE STAFF. With the presence of the Managing Director of the college, Dr. (Mrs) C.O. Ogunsanya, ably supported by the members of the Oxbridge Advisory Board; Mr. Dapo Oyewumi,Venerable Dade Osadare and the Chairman of the board, Mr. Tope Toogun, the attendees were promised a cerebral day. Not just thinking abstractly, but thinking purposefully to solve a problem. By the time, the training had ended, we were all set on the right mood for the college CPD that would commence the following day. Apart from getting more motivated for better performance, there were also many lessons to help individual personal effectiveness. All in all a very enlightening and motivating day...

Bayo of Bellerbys Visits Oxbridge

Mr. Bayo Awesu, the Senior Recruitment Manager at Bellerbys College and Mr. Francis paid the college a visit on the 16th June, 2015. The visit was crucial because it was an avenue to brief our students  in the programme,  regarding their applications, and also what to expect on their arrival at Bellerbys College (Cambridge). Further to this, he reminded them of the possible changes and cultural differences they may experience when arriving in the UK. Things many don’t consider, such as the environment, climate, accents, food, culture, laws of land etc. He also briefed them about the various types of accommodation that the college offers, that is ,the choice of living on campus or with a host family, and the associated costs. The meeting had the Managing Director, Dr. (Mrs.) C. O. Ogunsanya and the Bellerbys Coordinator in the college Mr. Ayo Oyenekan in attendance. MP1, A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN BELLERBYS COLLEGE UK AND OXBRIDGE TUTORIAL COLLEGE IS A UNIQUE TWO YEAR PROGRAMME (ONE YEAR WITH OXBRIDGE AND ONE WITH BELLERBYS) WHICH GIVES OUR STUDENTS ADVANTAGEOUS ACCESS TO UK MEDICAL SCHOOLS.
